Don’t Look Now – We’ve Gone Viral…Now What?

I still remember the day my son Tony sent me a link from his friends Tim and Rick’s work – it was titled ‘Melbourne in Summer’. Their work created a palpable summer time vibe in my home office, which is no mean feat in the middle of a bleak, Scottish winter. All of this happened in less than three minutes, and stayed with me for days.

I knew there and then that these guys were going to be BIG! I suggested that one of my eCommerce clients who was looking to create a strong brand get in touch.

But too late now…

Four months on, and everything has changed. Their ‘Move’, ‘Eat’ and ‘Learn’ one minute films (all below) have grabbed such global outlets as CNN, ‘Washington Post’, ‘Entertainment Weekly’ and even Oprah blogged about them…

So this sudden explosion of exposure has resulted in media queries coming at them from all four corners of the globe. But, here is the challenge – how would you cope with so many decision to be made and opportunities to not be missed?

It can help to handle this high level of demand, if you have a highly-experienced team guiding you along the way. Don’t be afraid to ask for support from successful people, who you know have the experience and connections you need. Experienced entrepreneurs can go a long way in scenarios like this. Personally speaking, this is one of  my favourite aspects of what I do, namely supporting the creative and talented people that I have the great pleasure in calling my clients.

Enjoy your journey through the movies below.

  9. I have not been out yesterday but if the dress code has been adhered to, I think that is a bigger plus to this government than the “free” bus ride. These young people were of the opinion that they can dress the same way in the business sector. I am glad that discipline has been brought back into this society, this would take some of the pressure of the private employers.
