About Norma Corlette

I’m Norma Corlette, I have spent my life immersed in education, personal development and entrepreneurship both in the UK and internationally as a teacher, business owner and member of Boards of private companies, trade associations and non profit institutions.

Over the last three years, I have worked with over 40  companies to help them gain clarity of direction and the growth that they and their company desire nationally and internationally.

I have also enjoyed a close relationship with those I have mentored as together we have successfully gained funding or investment, changed their business model, introduced new products or services and,  at all times, designed the business around the lifestyle they wish for.

My knowledge and breadth of experience both in business and people psychology  enables me to help my clients clarify their vision , achieve their goals and strengthen their mindset to deliver the growth they want.

I am a qualified coach of Entrepreneurial studies and a student of strategic interventions for personal change.

Sometime ago I chose young people as the area I would dedicate my  charity and philanthropic work to.  As a result I am a Board member of Mellow Parenting, an Advisory Board member  of Place2Be , an enterprise partner at Strathclyde University and can always be seen helping out somewhere when needed.

My Journey

After receiving a teaching degree with distinction from Strathclyde University, I went on to teach for ten years. Then, in 1989, I jointly set up MindStore to bring positivity to the Scots. MindStore became a huge national success.  I was responsible for managing and directing the company, which changed the mindset of thousands of people across the UK

In 1998, I launched The Learning Game, a company dedicated to supporting education and young people. Within five years, this award-winning company was working with 6000 young people a week, 3000 teachers a year, and had international licenses in Ireland, Germany and Singapore as well as a strong presence in the education department in Hong Kong.

Previously  recognised by the Herald newspaper as “one of Scotland’s top 100 most influential women”, my business acumen was applauded by the late Sir John Harvey Jones as being “ahead of  its time”.

I have been involved in many philanthropic activities mostly around supporting young people be all they can be and female entrepreneurs.
